Gatsby hopes to impress Daisy with his wealth and success. He wanted Nick to invite Daisy over to his house so he could pretend to stumble in and force Daisy to see him again.

Gatsby wants Daisy to see his house because it will show her how successful he is. Showing her his house would be a way to impress her by his wealth. Dan said it perfectly, he is very excited and anxious to see her again and has been waiting for the moment to see her again for a while. This shows how he is still thinking about her and how he hopes that by showing her his house and how successful he is, things would change.

Gatsby would like to show Daisy his house because he wants her to know what he has done with his life. He wants her to know that he is a successful man and he wants to try to impress her. He also wants to try to remind Daisy of Gatsby. Gatsby wanted to show Daisy how wealthy he is, and how he is not like every other average guy.

It was pretty obvious that Gatsby wanted to show-off to Daisy with his wealth and his wealth. He wanted to try to win her back by impressing her with his money. He might want to see if there is any feelings left for him by Daisy.
