The valley of ashes seems like a waste land. He says it has grotasque gardens where ashes grow. It sounds like a construction area or a mine shaft.

The valley of ashes is a place just outside of New York. It has one, lone, railroad track that connects West egg and New York. Nick must ride this train when moving back and forth. Also there a pair of giant "eyes" that belong to Doctor T. J. Eckleburg that watch over the valley.

The valley of ashes connects West Egg to NY. The valley seems empty, spacious, and unoccupied. Although it does have a railroad track that extends from West Egg to NY.

The valley of ashes is located somewhere right outside New York. This valley connects the West Egg and New York. This valley seems to be a big waste of land because no one is living there, and it seems as though it is an unoccupied place.

The valley of ashes is located halfway between West Egg and New York City. It is a deserted, gray valley where New York’s ashes are dumped. It is said in the book that the job of those who live in this section is to shovel up the ashes. Overhead on a large sign, there is a pair of large, blue, spectacle rimmed eyes, belonging to Doctor T.J. Eckleburg. The eyes stare down over the valley of ashes, watching over the valley, seeing everything that happens and occurs there.

"The valley of ashes" is like the dead marshes in the Lord of The Rings
trilogy, a devastating wasteland.
It is a depressed area where poor people live and shovel ashes for a living. It symbolizes the moral decay
of the upper class in the extreme poverty of those who live there.

The Valley of Ashes lies directly on the outskirts on New York. This stretch of land is between New York and West Egg. It is a useless area because it is unsettled and unsuitable for life.
