Gatsby is different than his guests in many ways. A key difference though is that while his quest love to party Gatsby is much more fond of simply being alone. He is also different than everyone else because he actually cares about others and their interests unlike the other who really only care about having a good time and boosting their social status. Gatsby is sincere and honest in what he does when the majority of his quests are most likely self conceited liars.

Gatsby prefers to watch the party happen rather than participate in it. While everyone is partying he just stands on the stairs and watches it. Also he does something that is very unlike the other people at the party, he doesn't drink. Gatsby is much less superficial than the rest of the party-goers.

Gatsby is different from his guests because he is not as outgoing and energetic. He says himself that he "is not a very good host." Gatsby sits back and watches things happen. He stayes sober while everyone around him is drinking. His guests love the party and love being around others, while Gatsby enjoys spending his time alone and watching eveyone enjoy his party.

Gastby is very simple. It doesn't take much to make him happy. The guests at his party seem very gossip orientated, and high maintenence. Gatsby is the stark opposite. Gastby would rather stay sober, which was a very rare thing to do during the twenties. He seems to just lay low, whereas the people who atted his parties would do anything to be recognized.

Gatsby says that he is "not a very good host" because while all of his energetic, crazy geusts are partying, he is just watching. Gatsby enjoys being alone while his guests love being around eachother. Gatsby is also different from his guests because while they drink, he stays sober.

Gatsby is very different from his guests around him. The main difference is that while his guests are enjoying the party, Gatsby is observing from his house, all alone. He does not join these fancy parties that he throws, but still throws them anyways. Also Gatsby does not drink at the party, which is the opposite of everyone else there. This shows that he is not much of a partier, but would rather observe. Another difference is Gatsby’s speech, how it is so elaborate and formal. It says in the book he calls everyone “old sport”. He is very kind to everyone, and really shows interest in what people have to say, unlike those who are just there to have a good time.

Gatsby is not the party animal you would think he is judging on the size of the parties he throws for his guests. The most shocking fact is that Gatsby does not even socialize with his guests. Nick figured this out when he was invited personally to talk with Gatsby. He found that he was up in his office alone, just watching the party.

Gatsby is very different then the guests he has at his party. As his party guests indulge themselves in drinking and dancing, Gatsby does not. Instead, he watches his guests enjoy the party he has thrown. This shows that Gatsby may be more mature then his guests and gets a simple pleasure of watching others have fun then if he was to join them.

He is very different then the people that show up for his parties. Will the people that show up are very social and are there to party and interact with each other Gatsby would prefer to be alone and watch what people do rather then be there with the people taking part in what is happening. So while the people at his parties are there to interact Gatsby would rather observe.

Compared to Gatsby's guests, he is a very layed back guy. Instead of joining the party with everyone else, he would much rather watch his guests having a good time at his party. He believes he is not a very good host. Gatsby is not a big drinker, so while everyone else is drinking, he stays sober.

Gatsby is very different than the guests that attend his parties. Although Gatsby throws many extravagent parties he normally prefers to be alone. Unlike his concieted movie star house guests Gatsby is a honest and loving man.
