Nick thinks he's one of the most honest people he know's because he does not no to many people.Also because the people he does know are all liars like his friend who his cheating on his wife with a married woman. Yes i do belive that Nick is honest and so is Gatsby, thats why he got along with him so well.

He also has a girl that he s interested in who he admits is dishonest. he is surrounded by lies so is bound to assume he is one of the few not contributing to the mass. I think he is honest compared to his companions and to a point very truthful. The fact is though that no one is completely honest. Nick like anyone else has his secrets and has told his lies. The difference he hold is that maybe he has less of these or he is just better at hiding them.
